Description

Eyoooo, a non-pokemon stuff! :dummy: It feels kinda wierd, but also wierdly refreshing! Anyways...

I've been on a bit of a Sword Art Online (A Japanese anime about a world where MMORPG has reached a level where people can now play it in a virtual world. Absolutely cool) and felt like drawing some kinda art relating to it. After all...ITS COOL!

So I came up with this character...Well long story short, it's kinda  self insert but hey, if the game DOES exsist I will be living in it forever :dummy: Anyways!

Name - Lunix Esquire

Nicknames
The Diplomat - Many some see's Lunix as a Diplomat, for he has somehow managed to befriend multiple races, namely the Sylph, Spriggan, Salamanders, and the Cait-sith. His bright, optimistic personality has won him many respect and places for the Fairy Races.

Weapons Master - While most players are content in sticking with 1 type of weapon, Lunix enjoys using all. He is one of the first players to actually use different weapons from time to time, and to be fairly adept at using them all.

The MoonWolf - A nickname he recently got after defeating a PvP player tormenting other places near Sylvan. The PvP'er went a step too far by insulting Lunix's friend and family, and thus Lunix literally defeated him using moves and skills that reminded onlooker that of a wolf. First he struck his opponent with status effect moves to slow and cripple his opponent, threaten his opponent in a corner with bloodlust and fear, and finally striking out the killing blow to the PvP'ers throat. Lunix did not enjoy this nickname much. He was at first nicknamed "Wolf", until people recognized his "Tsuki-Kageryu" style, meaning Moon-Shadow, decided to rename him, Moon-Wolf.

Race - Human
The Human race, if it existed in ALO, Are a balanced race when it comes to ground based stat that grows alot near end game. They have low capability in magic, thus leading to having only a third of magic stat compared to other races in the game, and flying is not one of their forte. They can fly, but it is shorter, and at early level it can only be used for travelling, but not capable of fighting while flying. This also means that the Human Race has a slow start in the game cause of having no support in magic, and flying only to travel, but not to fight. They can increase their flying Skill Bar to a point where it is possible, but even then, the Fairy Races will be more adapt in flight combat.

However, Humans gain faster Skill EXP in any other skill's outside of magic, such as Weaponary, fishing, profession and so forth, and once they reach a certain point in the game, they can pick 1 or 2 extra bonus buffs for that skill, such as, if they're max level in 1 Handed Sword skill, they can have a buff where they have increased damage/Swing Speed/etc etc. Or if they're maxed in Shields, they can have a extra buff that let's them use Shield Offensively (Much like punching), or give more defense.

They can learn magic, but it will take much longer to level, but they will not get extra bonus buff for magic stat, and their magical capability is less effective than that of the Fairy Races.

In whole, the Fairy Races in ALO all have flying, and some extra buffs in a few areas as a racial bonus, but Human Race only has the extra buff of quick learning in skill, but low efficiency in flying. But in the end game stats, they get to pick 1 to 2 extra buffs, thus giving Human Race more free range in what kind of life they have in the world of ALO.

Combat Specialty - Case-Weapon fighter, all round melee fighter. Also experienced in Other weapons such as Spears, Axe, Maces and Bow. However, has Low-Experience in magic, but learns the one or two helpful ones such as night-vision or heal-over-time.

Lunix's fighting style is that of balance and swiftness in extreme close combat. He has learned to fight in many different ranges from Long Range (Striking with the max range he can use with his sword or spear), Mid Range (Being able to go in and out of strike range of his enemy and vice versa) and close range. But Lunix's specialty is that goes to the extreme, Extreme Close Combat, or what he calls "ECC". Most fighter's prefer to block, parry, or dodge attacks and get out of range in and out, but Lunix, when truely in his rhythm, will stick a range where he literally fights in a range where other's are not used to, close combat. Whenever a attacks comes to him, he won't back away, but instead move in even closer, almost stepping past his opponent, throwing in quick, but precise strikes. This mean's Lunix is quick, but mostly in short distances. When you think Lunix is in the max range of your sword, Lunix can close to small but important distance in a blink of an eye, changing the range from long range to ECC. Even if in Close Combat, Lunix's short burst of speed in the short distance can allow him to slip past and behind his opponent in 1 step, at the same time striking out.

Lunix also uses variety of Sword Skills, but most of the time they're quick releasing ones with short Freeze time. This means that most of Lunix's attack will not be strong, and won't exactly cause the biggest of damage in one strike. But because of his short range capability and reflexes, he can avoid attacks while striking out his own to hit with precision. However when the opportunity rises, Lunix can give out very powerful Sword Skills that can lead to 1 shot hits, though he rarely uses these unless the opportunity raises. (which means you'll see him use these moves against Monsters and NPC's, but not much against PvP Players).

He calls his fighting style of ECC, "Tsuki-Kage Ryu" (Moon-Shadow Style). Not that it truely makes a big difference, but his own enjoyable fighting range of ECC, with the reflexes to avoid and move into attacks, to use Case-Weapon style fighting (1H Sword and Dagger) and extreme, short bursted movements makes him a very unique fighter. He can Tank for his party, but also becomes a reliable, constant damaging DPS, but via changing weapon, he can even become a strong Support with spears and axes from the back line if needed. While he doesn't give out multiple hit strikes, he makes sure that each and every one of his attacks is to hit his target.

"Well, I know it doesn't hurt much...But hey, I'm hitting you more, right?"

But this means he has weaknesses to check on, and the first one is magic, and any Extreme Long Range fighters that uses bows, magic and such things. Lunix enjoys the magic in the game of ALO, but he has little to no patience attempting to level up any magic stat, thus making his capability against magic ... lacking, to say the least. And since there are magics in the game that has Homing capability, he has a extremely rough time against these fighters. He has learned to counter Magic by using the Sword Skill called "Magic Burst" that lets him cut through magic, or even using a shield, but the fact that he cannot close the distance at once annoys him greatly. This also goes to any Bow-mans. Lunix has the same problem of not being able to close the distance between himself and a bow-man. Lunix does have high stat in sprint, but he doesn't exactly have the stamina or patience to try and close the distance all the time. Sooner or later he will close the distance, but until then he'll be a biiitt agitated.

"God darn it I hate this stupid cheap-ass Homing...Crap!"

Equipments:

Armor
- Spriggan Travelling Coat <Medium Armor> - A Thick leather coat that provides fairly high defense, though below-par defense against magic. It has magical property that gives more buff in Sneak, making it hard for other players/monsters to locate you while wearing and walking quietly/slowly.
- Men's Sylphian Tunic of Recovery <Clothing> - A Green coat made in Sylvan. It is light, beautiful in color, and gives a small heal-over-time buff for the wearer.
- Truesteel Gauntlets of Lightness <Heavy Armor> - Heavy Gauntlet's of high quality, these gauntlet's provides alot of defense, and after lots and lots and lots and lots of attempts, Lunix finally got made ones that gives less weight.
- Travellers Battle Boots <Medium Armor> - Solid travellings boots, it gives solid defense, and reduces knock-back. However it is not the most sneakiest of boots, making the unique buff of his Coat a bit...Pointless?
- Black Pants <Clothing> - Plain pants.
- Dark-grey Shirt of Defense <Clothing> - A plain grey shirt that increases defense by alittle.

Accessories
- Salamandian's Battle Apron - A red apron, it doesn't give any base defensive stat, but boosts the wearer's attack and defense by a small percentage. It also gives some small resistance to fire based attacks.
- Necklace of Striking - A Necklace that increases the speed of all Sword Skill action speed, and decreasing the length of the Freeze time from a Sword Skill.
- Striker's Ring x2 - A Ring that increases the speed of all Sword Skill action speed, and decreasing the length of the Freeze time from a Sword Skill.

Weapons
- Knightly-Blade of Defense - Lunix's main sword, a 1 handed sword that has good reach, weight, but with added buff in durability, parrying and defense. The attack stat is fairly high, but Lunix relies more on its reach and solid defense than damaging.
- Knightly-Dagger of Berserking - Lunix's off hand, a large, solid dagger. It is almost as heavy as the 1 handed sword, and was made to have increased parrying and defense, but the added buff gives it a chance to deal extra damage and critical chance.

Other Weapons
- Crimson Spear of Stunning - Lunix's main spear, average quality, but the extra buff of chance to stun via hit makes it a powerful support weapon from behind a shield. It has long range, one of the longer ones in the spear tree, and a very broad spear-blade. It has a passive affinity of Fire.
- Goblin's Battle Axe of Boulder - Lunix's Main axe, a 2 Handed Axe weapon. Large, and very weighty, this axe is considered one of the "Rare 10" weapon. The Axe heard is double-headed, but the extra buff of weight allows Lunix to get through most blocks/parries with a single strike. It does however slows Sword Skill down by alot, thus Lunix only uses it when support-DPSing. It also has a passive affinity of Earth.
- Sylvan Bow of Berserking - A beautiful, slim bow, this bow has above-medium range but has a passive affinity of Wind. It also has the chance to deal extra damage and critical chance.
- Knightly Shield of Defense - A solid, medium-sized Heater Shield. It has one of the highest defense in the game, and the extra buff gives it even more defense, and increased chance of counter-blocking (Deflecting a attack by doing a good block).

Extra
- Lunix's Sword style, Tsuki-Kagryu has 10 different stances/form, each one aimed for different situations in a fight. However he takes these forms/stance in the fight the whole time, thus you won't see him just get into a stance and wait. While you're fighting him, he will step in, take a form to get into the action and then strike out. The 10 forms are:

I-Ten no Tachi (1st, Heavens Stance) - Sword held high, from here he can strike out single, but powerful attacks aimed for the head or shoulder which are the some of the weak-spots of a person.
Ni-mai no Tachi (2nd, Dance Stance) - Sword held and kept sideways against his body or slightly out, doesn't have strength, but let's him move in and out of multiple enemies easier, and give out short, but multiple hits at once.
San-San no Tachi (3rd, Mountain Stance) - Sword held head height, blade pointing at the enemies face, intimidating stance, and the all the attacks are stabs that almost for the upper torso or the head, using his lower body and leg strength in attempt to thrust through blocks or cause his opponent to lose balance. Extremely disorientating.
Shi-Fuu no Tachi (4th, Breeze Stance) - Sword held low and behind Lunix, it leaves him open, but Lunix's uses this to give out a counter with a low, sweeping strike that can strike anywhere from a low angle, making it hard to avoid.
Go-Dou no Tachi (5th, Path Stance) - A Defensive stance, holding both weapons evenly on either side, it reduces movement, but it makes parrying, blocking and countering easier.
Ro-Ken no Tachi (6th, Sword Stance) - A very offensive stance, it involves the fighting style of ECC to the max where Lunix has to constantly be in Extreme Close Combat, and to give out non-stop flurries of attacks. He doesn't enjoy this stance for it is risky, but if he gets the first strike, he can give out multiple strikes in quick succession.
Shichi-Sou no Tachi (7th, Spirit Stance) - A strange stance. It is where Lunix tries to imitate his enemies movement, and used only against other players. It takes roughly 3 steps. The first step is where Lunix doesn't attack, but just avoids/defends until he picks up his opponents "Rhythm". Then once he learns it, the 2nd step is that he starts to imitate their movement, their stance, how they hold their sword etc. And finally the 3rd stance is that he uses this against his opponent by striking at the openings.
Ya-Shya no Tachi (8th, Death-Field Stance) - Lunix's only stance that goes for a 1-shot, killing blow. It takes a low stance, the blade pointing forward near the ground. It involves ECC, but to a point where he has to get right in, and the at the best timing where his opponent cannot back away or counter, and giving out a powerful attack. There is only 1 move that Lunix does from this stance, though it is rarely used for it is hard to use in time, and Lunix himself doesn't enjoy it.
Kyuu-Rai No Tachi (9th, Flash Stance) - Holding both blades point forward, but roughly waist height and facing forward. A full thrust only stance, similar to the 3rd stance, but involves thrusting out with extreme precision into any small openings. The attacks won't be super strong, but effective mentally, for stabs are what people does not like.
Ten-Ryuu no Tachi (10th, Dragon Stance) - A fairly new stance Lunix came up with, that involves using both his weapons together. However the game itself doesn't allow hits with 2 weapons at the same time, making it a crash-course type of stance. But Lunix managed to do a attack that allowed it to "look" like he used to weapons at once, though it was only 2 strikes that happens a milli-second after the other.

He may think of more.

- These stance is usable with other weapons also, but it makes his ECC style of fighting harder to do. ECC fighting is only possible when Lunix uses his main weapons, the Sword and Dagger combination. When he uses an Axe, he cannot go into ECC for the weight of the axe will be killed, thus it'll be mostly mid-range fighting where he can swing the axe for max damage. Spear weapon causes Lunix to fight in all ranges, but mostly in mid to long range fighting, and preferably only when supporting a party member.

- Lunix uses a Bow for long range, and his bow-skill is high, however his accuracy is just...Par, he will only hit 4 to 5 arrows every 10 shots, though when lucky it can go up to 6 to 8.

- Lunix can use a shield, but he doesn't enjoy it. He can tank, but he still prefers to tank with Case Weapon fighting for it is more "enjoyable", but if a situation asks for it, he will use a shield, but you will easily see his mood change when done so.

- Lunix hates sneaking. Not that he thinks its cowardly...He just, hates the stress and tension of being found while sneaking.

- Other than fighting, Lunix enjoys fishing, cooking and gathering skills in the game. The Lore of the game catches his fancy, thus wanting to actually "live" in the game from time to time to learn of it is frequent.

- Lunix's Personality of optimism, smiling lots and always looking forward has won some space of residency and friendship for multiple races of ALO, especailly Cait Sith...Cause cat-ears and tail... It's his favourite... what?

- Lunix has max stats in 1H Sword, Dagger, Parry, Block, Sprint, Reflxes, Medium Armor and Heavy Armor. All the other weapon skill are roughly in the 800+ sections. However he has absolutely no points in any proffesion other than fishing and cooking, his magic stat are well below par.

That's it for now...

I would add more but not bothered for I used alot of energy drawing. :iconmingplz: Another time, ho hooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.
